How to clean Tile & Stone Floors
For light cleaning on tile floor and grout lines, mix a general cleaning solution of Clean-n-Brite. Spray on, scrub lightly and rinse thoroughly. For extra tough mold and mildew, make Clean-n-brite into a paste by adding a few drops of water to one scoop of Clean-n-Brite and apply. Let stand for 1 hour up to overnight, scrub and rinse thoroughly.
Stone surfaces can be deep cleaned by applying Clean-n-Brite solution as described above. Clean-n-Brite will clean deep down into the stone surface removing years of dirt, grease, oil and stains. Stone surfaces will lighten immediately and continue to do so for 24 hours after the initial cleaning.
Sealing grout lines annually will protect grout from water damage and dirt buildup. It's important to use the proper sealer. Choose a silicone based ( penetrating ) sealer not an acrylic based sealer. Silicone sealer will repel water and not break down. Some silicone sealers come with a 15 year guarantee.
